Pro-Gun Advancements Made in Kansas!
The Kansas Legislature not only passed House Bill 2528 this session,
but also overrode Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D) veto. HB2528 would
prevent local municipalities from passing ordinances prohibiting concealed
carry that are more stringent than state law. Also passed this session
was Senate Bill 192, legislation that allows for licensed hunters at least
18 years of age to take out another individual for a mentored hunting
experience. The new hunter would be allowed to bypass hunter
education for one-year after which time he or she would be
required to pass the required hunter education course to purchase
a hunting license.
